Popayán, in addition to being a beautiful city steeped in history, has always been a renowned center of culture, home to poets, artists and writers. Perhaps this is why its people are so authentic carriers of the most legitimate tradition, of admirable culture and courtesy, friends of visitors, cordial and good conversationalists.

The city is 1,760 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 18 ° C, maintains a spring climate throughout the year, however its best months are November, December and January.

The colonial architecture of Popayán is one of its main attractions. The beautiful mansions that for several centuries were occupied by the most prominent families in the city, today have mostly been rehabilitated for different uses. There is also an impressive profusion of colonial temples, which recalls the leading role of the Church in the formation of the city throughout its history.

Land route:

Popayán is crossed throughout its territory from south to north by the Pan-American Highway, the main one in Colombia, and the Transport Terminal located practically next to the airport has the most complete offer of ground transportation service to leave and / or arrive to the city which allows it to connect with the entire country by land.

Airway

Official Land Transport

Attend the Colombian Ecology Congress traveling with Velotax, the congress's official land transport.

The prices only apply for purchases at the box office. Tickets purchased online are NOT discounted.To access the discount you must present the proof of attendance to the event at the payment ticket office (digital registration payment invoice).

Bogotá-Cali : preferential bus service 80,000 pesos on Friday (November 2), on Saturday (November 3) 60,000 pesos. Departures from 4:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the morning

Bogotá -Popayán: preferential bus service or pulman 92,000 pesos on Friday (November 2) and on Saturday (November 3) 70,000 pesos

Cali –Popayán: Microbus Aero vans 18,000 pesos (6 to 18 passengers), kia service 27,000 pesos (8 passengers) and taxi 27.00 (4 passengers), every half hour leaving the terminal. Prices are per person.

Ibagué - Popayán : 50,000 pesos per person

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT POLICIES

To guarantee the reservation, they must make a deposit for the total value of the accommodation no later than within 3 days of receipt of the confirmation via email, otherwise it can be sold to another person since we must close the internet channels and block every room reserved.
Availability must be confirmed directly with each establishment according to the data at the end of this message.
The reservation must be at least 3 nights .
In case of needing to cancel, the deposit will only be refundable if the cancellation is made 48 hours before check-in.
Coffee Break Hostel does NOT include breakfast , but they have free kitchen access.
The Hotels do not have parking but there are two public parking spaces a few steps from each establishment, the hotels are not responsible for vehicles that they leave outside the Hotels.
In case of arrivals before the event dates and extended stays, the discounts offered will be maintained .
The Rate does NOT include minibar and laundry consumptions; these are additional.
